Sara Andreasson is Swedish illustrator known for incorporating bright colors, bold shapes, and powerful human figures in her work. Born in Kirstinehamn, Sweden, Sara studied engineering and furniture design before realizing her true passion for illustration. After graduating from Gothenburg’s Academy of Design and Crafts, her illustrations began to get traction as she shared them on Tumblr and Instagram. She currently lives in London, UK, where she creates stunning personal projects and commissions for clients including the New York Times, The Guardian, Adidas, Nike, Vogue, and Gucci.
What initially drew me to Sara’s work was her unique human forms, unexpected sense of color and subtle use of texture. It’s been exciting to watch her work develop from afar and I look forward to getting more insight into her process.
